To Whom It May Concern:

I, My name is Laiana Fulana Beltrana, , passport number XXXXXXX, I-94 number XXXXXXXX, hereby request to change my visa from J-1 to B-2. I came as an Au Pair to have a different life experience and improve my English, but during my time as Au Pair, my work schedule made it difficult to find time to travel. Since I did not need to pay for living accommodation or food, I was able to save a sufficient amount of money to extend my stay to travel around the United States and enjoy my time here.

If I’m allowed to stay, I am going to start my trip on the West Coast. It will start in San Francisco and go all the way down to San Jose, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, San Diego, Las Vegas and then finish my tour in Miami. I was living in the East Coast, so I didn’t have a chance to go visit these traditional places.

For those reasons above, I would like to change my current visa for B-2. As a tourist, I will be able to do some sightseeing before I go back home. Please find my I-539 application, I-94, and other supporting materials along with this letter.
